I saw him years ago at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, at a performance that was shown in part in the Famous (OK, locally famous) Lupo's movie "It's a Complex World".
there are few times that a person gets to see a true legend in such a small venue ... up close and personal.

I saw him at Lupo's back in the day, too. Great show, wish I had gone earlier, like in the late 70's.
Speaking of "It's A Complex World", my friends and I LOVED the Young Adults. Rudy Cheeks is actually my cousin, and I'll never forget the time I was pissing in the bathroom at January's and he came in with the damn microphone.
